- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was released on April 22, 2025.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered’s release on Steam has done better than all the other nine newly released games included in the top sellers, according to the founder of GameDiscoverCo, Simon Carless.
Based on the chart Carless posted on LinkedIn, Oblivion Remastered earned around $105.4 million gross on Steam. The next one on that chart is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which earned $26.3 million. A huge difference from the top one.

Here’s the list of the top 10 earners of April 2025 on Steam:
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered – $105.4m
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – $25.3m
- RuneScape: Dragonwilds – $25.2m
- The Last of Us Part II Remastered – $16.8m
- Tempest Rising – $7.6m
- Blue Prince – $7m
- Haste – $4m
- Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days – $3.3m
- Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves – $2.8m
- The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- -$2.8m
Adding the revenue from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 to The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- results in only $94.8m, which is still far away from The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered’s $105.4m revenue.
It’s important to take note that all the numbers here are gross revenue. In reality, the developers received less, as Steam also takes a cut from the revenue of game sales.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was released on April 22, 2025. It’s available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
