Assassin’s Creed: Shadows heads the list of March 2025 top 20 best-selling games in the US. The data was revealed by Mat Piscatella, Executive Director and Video Game Industry Analyst at Circana.
The fourteenth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series is followed by MLB The Show 25, Monster Hunter: Wilds, WWE 2K25 and Split Fiction. While the tenth place is taken by Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, EA Sports College Football 25 closes the list of March 2025 top 20 best-selling games in the US.
As of period Jan. 5 – April 5, 2025, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows was the second most-sold game in the US for 2025, following Monster Hunter Wilds.
As of time of writing successor to Assassin’s Creed Mirage (2023) featured a Very Positive rating on steam with 17,372 reviews and all-tume peak of 64,825 concurrent players.
Released on March 20, 2025, for both Windows and macOS PCs, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S Assassin’s Creed: Shadows is also planned for release on iPadOS and Nintendo Switch 2.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows reached 1 million players on its launch day and exceeded 2 million within two days from release. As of March 27, 2025, the game has surpassed 3 million players across all platforms, according to Ubisoft.
