As a response to US President Donald Trump’s tariffs, China-based retro game company Anbernic is indefinitely ceasing all shipments to the US. The company will provide an update on its shipping policies once it receives confirmed updates regarding import duties.
“Due to changes in U.S. tariff policies, we will be suspending all orders shipping from China to the United States starting today,” Anbernic shared on its official website. The company details more issues regarding shipping, with delays being announced on their end.

“If you have already encountered any customs fees during this transitional period, please do not hesitate to contact us—we will work with you to find a suitable solution.”
Anbernic specializes in creating retro handhelds catered toward emulation of older game consoles. The company earned its reputation within the emulation community as the company that creates Game Boy Advance and Advance SP form factor hardware — two consoles with design languages that are beloved by many.
