On April 18, Diablo 4 announced on their social media that the game is collaborating with the manga series Berserk. The developers previously announced in their roadmap that Diablo will collaborate with two IPs that complement the game’s dark themes.

Berserk is definitely one of the most fitting IPs to collaborate with Diablo. The manga series has drawn critical acclaim for its dark fantasy setting, horror elements, and graphic violence, qualities that also define Diablo 4.

The developers are pretty quiet regarding the exact date the collaboration is going to take place. They also haven’t mentioned what kind of collaboration it’s going to be. According to Diablo 4’s roadmap, the first collaboration is set to happen between April and July. Diablo Immortal, a mobile game set in the Diablo universe, will also be participating in the collaboration.

While the Diablo franchise has collaborated with other games and media before, it was mostly within the Blizzard catalog. The game has made appearances in Heroes of the Storm and World of Warcraft. The latest announcement with Berserk is going to be its first media collaboration outside Blizzard.

Diablo 4 was released in June 2023 for the PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game’s next season, Belial’s Return, is expected to be released before July and will feature the addition of a new feline pet and will coincide with the game’s second-year anniversary.
