Midnight Prologue: “The Warning” content update will bring Housing Early Access to World of Warcraft on Dec. 2, 2025, as announced by the game’s developer and publisher Blizzard Entertainment in a post on its official website on Nov. 12, 2025.
Players who have purchased any edition of the Midnight expansion will be able to join a neighborhood, purchase a house, and start customizing their new home.
Players will be able to establish a new home base in either Founder’s Point (Alliance) or Razorwind Shores, choosing between two types of Neighborhoods: Public, available for anyone to join, and Guild Neighborhoods, which can be established just for a guild of at least ten recently active players (in the last thirty days) by visiting the Steward.
Players will be able to level up their homes as they add special decor items to their collection even before the Midnight expansion releases. Those items can be crafted for use in the player’s own home or sold to others.
Designing a new space will be available in Basic or Advanced modes, with over 600 housing items to collect from various activities, including quests from NPCs located in Orgrimmar, Stormwind, and Darnassus. The available items can be viewed within the new Housing Dashboard (hotkey – H) in the Decor Catalog tab, along with some of their sources, how much they cost, and any additional requirements to add them to the collection.
