The Finals’ first-ever major tournament will be held in Stockholm on Nov. 28-29, 2025, according to an official announcement from the game’s developer and publisher, Embark Studios.
The inaugural tournament will see the 16 best teams in the world competing for a $100,000 prize pool.
Qualifiers are set to begin in September 2025. From open qualifiers in early September, top teams from each region—North America, EMEA and APAC—will move on to the closed qualifiers, which will be broadcast live. The best 16 teams will then face off at the major, live in Stockholm at DreamHack Stockholm, part of the ESL FACEIT Group.
Embark Studios promised that it will share more information about how to sign up for the open qualifiers, the tournament format, and details on broadcast and viewing schedules closer to September.
The Finals is a free-to-play first-person shooter that was released on Dec. 7, 2023, and is available on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 4|5.
As of the time of writing, the game has an all-time peak of 242,619 concurrent players, according to SteamDB.
