Arc Raiders Opens Registration For Its Second Tech Test

- Arc Raiders announced that it’s opening registration for its second tech test.
- The game is being developed by Embark Studios, the developers of The Finals.
- Arc Raiders is expected to release this year for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game will cost $40.
Arc Raiders, an extraction shooter game from the developers of The Finals, opened up registration for the game’s second tech test. According to the developers, the beta testing will start on April 30 and last until May 4.
The upcoming extraction shooter had its first tech test last year on October 24, which lasted until October 27. The game’s setting seems to be in a future where robots have taken over Earth. Players will fight against robots and other squads, which has the potential to result in a messy firefight against two factions who want your loot.
However, it’s still a departure from Embark Studios’ other game: The Finals. From the gameplay reveal of Arc Raiders, players are often quiet and thinking far ahead before they make their first step. The Finals gameplay is very different from this as the players there strive in chaos and high-octane situations.
Arc Raiders was revealed back in 2021 and had its closed alpha test in 2023. The game is expected to be released this year, but the developers have not revealed the exact release date yet. According to one of their videos, the game will cost $40 and will be available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Arc Raiders will also be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nvidia GeForce Now.
