“Taking the foundation of our baseline list from Days Gone in 2019, we made it a priority to evolve and improve accessibility to make the player’s experience more accessible and customizable,” PlayStation stated in their official blog.

Gameplay speed customization is catered for players who need to slow things down to pass a level. The gameplay speed ranges from 100% to 75%, 50%, and 25%. Here are the other gameplay options included as part of Days Gone Remastered for the PlayStation 5:

  • Collectible Audio Cues

Another new feature is UI Narration, which “activates audio descriptions for the user interface reading out key information to aid players in navigating on-screen items such as all menu options and in-game Touchpad options including Inventory, Skills, and Storylines.”

According to PlayStation’s blog, most of these features are coming for PC as well – but not all. They failed to specify which features will be included and which won’t.

Days Gone Remastered is a rerelease of Days Gone, a title that was initially released on April 26, 2019. The remastered version debuts on April 24 at 9 pm PDT for PlayStation 5 and PC.
