Leaks Confirm Borderlands’ Psycho Bandit’s Long Awaited Return to Fortnite

Borderlands is making a return to Fortnite in season 3 – with Psycho Bandit soon to be available in the in-game cosmetics store. This news was revealed by a reputable leaker, who also leaked the season 3 leadup cinematic as well; this is the trailer that transitions into the next content cycle.
The Psycho Bandit costume was previously purchasable for 2,000 V-Bucks. It was included as a part of the Psycho Bundle, which came with Claptrap as well. The costume allows players to play as the typical goon in the Borderlands franchise; these goons are known as Psycho bandits. They wear masks to hide their identity, masks which have become symbols for the Borderlands franchise.
HYPEX, the leaker responsible for revealing Psycho Bandit’s return, also announced that White Widow and Winter Soldier will be joining Fortnite.
Fortnite season 3, also known as Season 6 chapter 3, begins on May 2, 2025. The new season features a collaboration with Star Wars, and will be separated into five parts, each related to more specific events from the epic space opera created by George Lucas.
May brings a wave of Star Wars excitement with “Imperial Takeover” on May 2nd, followed by “The Pull of the Force” on May 8th, “Mandalorian Rising” on May 22nd, and “Star Destroyer Bombardment” on May 29th, all leading up to the ultimate “Death Star Sabotage” on June 7th.
