CD Projekt Red has issued a warning to Witcher fans about scammers exploiting their excitement for the series by sending fake emails offering access to a non-existent beta of Witcher IV.
In a social media post from the game’s official account on X (formerly Twitter), CD Projekt Red said that it has taken action to ”take this fraudulent messaging down.”
“If you receive any invites to or stumble upon news of one, we kindly ask you to report the scam using the tools available to you in your email client or the social media platform you are using,” says the message from the Witcher’s dev team.
