The event itself featured several major announcements, including the reveal of the next project from Returnal developer Housemarque – action game Saros, a release date for Borderlands 4, a new trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword, launch date for Shinobi Art of Vengeance, reveal of PS5 exclusive Metal Eden and Lies of P: Overture DLC.
The main PlayStation channel contributed significantly, with 656,000 peak concurrent viewers. However, the record-breaking numbers were largely driven by co-streaming, with over 1,000 YouTube Live and Twitch channels broadcasting the event.
