Ishiwatari’s new project is called Damon and Baby, and it’s not a fighting game but an action game. A small gameplay snippet was shown in the showcase, but not much to learn from. Arc System Works’ official X account said that the game is about a demon king cursed to never be able to leave a human child, and he’s doing all he can to remove the curse.

Another interesting showcase was Dear me, I was, an interactive adventure game. According to the accompanying post by the developers, the game is about the life of a woman. Players will relive her life through its ups and downs. The game will use rotoscoping technology, a departure from 3D or 2D technology usually used in visual or kinetic novels.

The only game that was shown at the event that’s remotely close to a fighting game is Double Dragon Revive, which had already been announced before. However, this showcase confirmed that Double Dragon Revive will also be released on the Nintendo Switch.
