Key points
  1. Last War, Whiteout Survival, Dungeon & Fighter and Brawl Stars are the newest games that earned $1 billion in 2024.
  2. Mobilegamer.biz’s report mentioned that 11 games earned $1 billion last year.
  3. Monopoly GO slipped out of the top five highest-earning games in May 2025.

On June 25, 2025, Mobilegamer.biz published a report revealing the games that have reached $1 billion in revenue in 2024. According to the report, 11 games reached the revenue feat, but it did not enumerate what those games are.

What the report mentioned were the four games that earned $1 billion for the first time, and they are:

  • Last War
  • Whiteout Survival
  • Dungeon & Fighter
  • Brawl Stars

Additionally, the report also mentioned that there is a decline in games that have earned $100 million in revenue, as well as those that have earned $10 million. The report mentioned that 2024’s $100-million earners have declined for the third consecutive year. 2021 had a peak of 171 games, but last year, it only had 144. $10-million revenue earners have also fallen for the third consecutive year, reaching a peak of 897 in 2021 and dropping down to 858 in 2024.

Despite Monopoly GO being one of the highest-earning mobile games in the past few years, the game showed its first decline in 2025. Mobilegamer.biz’s report showed that the game dropped out of the top five highest-earning games in May 2025, which might be a sign that the game is slowing down.

In May 2025, the highest-earning game was Honor of Kings, which totaled $154 million, followed by Whiteout Survival at $145 million. Monopoly GO is in sixth place, earning only $99 million last month.
