Nexon operating profits increased from $29.3 million (41.6 billion won) during the first three months of 2025 – the figure was shared in the company’s earnings report. Junghun Lee, the CEO of Nexon, notes the following two titles saw an earnings recovery: Dungeon&Fighter and Maplestory.

“We are making solid progress in our partnership initiatives with Tencent, the CEO of Nexon said in the earnings report. He then lists titles being developed under the partnership, which includes content for Dungeon&Fighter Mobile.

“Despite global economic turmoil, Nexon is deeply resilient and positioned for sustained growth,” the CEO stated.

Dungeon&Fighter and Maplestory are Nexon’s most profitable games. Maplestory, a classic MMORPG, celebrated their 22nd anniversary in April and held a Demon Slayer collaboration in April. Dungeon&Fighter held multiple significant updates and events, including their ten year anniversary.

Though operating profits went up, The First Berserker: Khazan performed financially worse than the company’s projected expectations. The new title released in March 2025; despite not financially performing, The First Bersker was critically well received. Another title that was released in Q1 of 2025 is Mabinogi Mobile, which Nexon reports “significantly exceeded [their] expectations in its debut in Korea.”

Nexon is a South Korean video game developer and publishing company. The company acquired the StarCraft IP from Blizzard, alongside the rights to publish and distribute  Overwatch Mobile, according to a Korean News outlet
