Domino’s Nominates Expedition 33 for Game of the Year

Domino’s social media page announced the pizza company’s three Game of the Year nominations: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The pizza delivery chain listed Expedition 33 as its highest-ranked game.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has taken the world by storm—the soundtrack has amassed over 33 million streams and hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Classical Chart.
The most popular track online is “Lumière,” with around 2.2 million plays on Spotify and 2 million plays on YouTube Music. In an interview with the BBC, it was revealed by the game’s director that Expedition 33’s composer, Lorien Testard, was discovered on SoundCloud. Testard had never worked on a video game before then.
French President Emmanuel Macron posted his praise on Instagram, stating the game is a “shining example of French audacity and creativity.”
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was released on April 24, 2025, for the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It has sold around 2 million copies across all platforms so far.
