Lords of the Fallen 2.0 Update Implements Shared Co-op Progression and Free Friend’s Pass

Lords of the Fallen 2.0 update adds shared co-op progression alongside providing gamers with a free friend’s pass – a feature that allows “friends without the full game can play the entire adventure by your side for free across all platforms.” The shared progression feature also allows both players to revive one another and collect 100% vigor.
The 2.0 update is considered the definitive edition of the game, according to CI Games’ marketing video, making for a seamless cooperative gaming experience. In addition, CI Games is also adding full cross-platform support, meaning players from various consoles will now be able to play with one another.
The Lords of the Fallen 2.0 update also added quality of life changes, gameplay adjustments, and a dedicated jump button.

Lords of the Fallen is a souls-like that emphasizes cooperative play. Allowing for up to two players to adventure together, the title initially launched in October of 2023 – receiving live-service updates to provide players with new content.
