Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune DLC release date is on May 15, 2025 – the information was confirmed in an unreleased gameplay trailer for the downloadable content. The trailer leaked on April 17. Though the original source has since been removed after Ubisoft’s intervention, it has since been reposted on other websites.
The official Star Wars Outlaws Twitter page posted a promotional image for the DLC, with a world premiere for the update debuting on April 18. Video Game Chronicles speculates that the trailer was initially planned to have been released during the world premiere, but it was “accidentally” revealed early.
In addition to the leaked trailer, a new demo for Star Wars Outlaws was made available. In the demo, players can “experience the iconic planet of Tatooine as the scoundrel Kay Vess alongside [their] loyal companion, Nix.”
Star Wars Outlaws was developed by Massive Entertainment, a studio under Ubisoft that saw downsizing around two months prior. Insider Gaming reports that the game sold 1 million copies within a month of its initial release, which was on November 21, 2024.
