Missed Count won its first World of Warcraft Mythic Dungeon Invitational (MDI) tournament at the MDI 2025 Global Finals, beating the second-place team, Team Liquid, by a measly eight seconds. There was a three-way tie during the finals between the aforementioned teams and HOLY Method.

MDI is a tournament hosted by Blizzard Entertainment where raiders compete in pushing keystones to the highest level possible within the allotted time. In order to push keystones, teams have to complete the Mythic+ dungeon repeatedly with as few mistakes as possible, considering the tournament is a speedrun tournament.

Missed Count’s main opponent in the tournament turned out to be Team Liquid, the winner of the Manaforge Omega Race to World First, which happened in September of this year. Missed Count held its own against the world-class raiders, taking the fastest times on Halls of Atonement, Tazavesh: Streets of Wonder and Tazavesh: So’leah’s Gambit.

Team Liquid was able to win the fastest clears on Ara-Kara, City of Echoes, Priory of the Sacred Flame and Operation Floodgate, resulting in the score between the two contenders being 3-3. When the clear times were tallied, Missed Count was able to edge out Team Liquid by eight seconds. HOLY Method finished third, being over two minutes slower than Missed Count.

This tournament, the MDI 2025 Global Finals, had eight Mythic+ teams compete for a prize pool of $300,000. Missed Count’s win earned them $120,000, with Team Liquid taking home $60,000. HOLY Method took home $45,000 for placing third.
