On Nov. 13, 2025, CloverPit developers Panik Arcade announced that the game had sold 1 million copies, following its release on Sept. 27, 2027. Paired with it, the developers also finally released the game’s hard mode, giving players more of a challenge in-game.
Together with the hard mode update, the developers have also introduced a balance patch, ensuring that the game remains as fresh and fair as possible. The Calendar has received buffs, and the Hourglass was also adjusted.
Here’s the full list of changes that were made to the game:
Gameplay
- Added Hard mode to memory cards: if you win with a memory card once you will now unlock the possibility to play it with double the deadline ammount.
- Winning during hard mode will now make the memory card rainbow, instead of having to win with that memory card 3 times.
- Calendar buffed: now it increases the symbols multiplier instead of increasing the symbols themselves.
- Calendar is now Rare instead of Uncommon
- Ring bell now increases the symbols multiplier instead of the symbols themselves.
- Ring bell now costs 2 tickets instead of 3
- Hourglass’ effect has been changed as it was the most useless thing ever seen in the entire universe. Now it alternates between growing the symbols and pattern multipliers at the end of each deadline, but it takes 1 extra space. It’s really strong and do not argue against me, OK??!?!?! You will need to use ur big brain between using this or the megaphone or the nuke button. They keep me prisoner in a cell under the Pacific Ocean! Please call for help!
- Hourglass now costs a bit more and it’s rare. Nothing special to read here. Please continue reading 🙂
- Cigarettes now have an 80% chance of restocking the store with them in it. Sorry guys, it was necessary to prevent endless runs
- CloverPot has been nerfed. Sorry guys, it was necessary to prevent endless runs
- Nerfed Naughty Dealer
- Nerfed Bricks, Wood, Sheep, Wheat, Stone, Harbor & Thief
- Charm trait about symbols multiplier now grants +2 instead of 1
- Tickets charm trait now grants +3 tickets instead of 2
- Buffed fruit basket to 10 rounds duration instead of 7
- Deadlines will grow more exponentially after 15 deadlines
Various
- Added game completition % near the toilet
- Added counter of how many memory cards the player has fully foiled into rainbow holographic
- Added counter of how many memory cards the player has cleared
- Made dialogue red after the bad ending, so people will pay attention to it and assume they are not done yet with the game.
- Added check for mods. If a game is modded, a gear will show up in the bottom left!
- When you click on the door key in the box, once the skeleton is completed, if it’s not the deadline time a dialogue will show up prompting you to keep playing
Fixes
- Disabled Twitch integration on Linux platforms for those who experienced crashes when there was no internet connection
- Added manual garbage collection in some situations trying to mitigate memory leaks when using linux with proton
- Weird Clock now resets its deadline limit even if it’s inside a drawer.
- Weird Clock now doesn’t reset the deadline limit when discarded. Only the end of deadline can reset the limit
