One of the Five Best-Reviewed Steam Games of 2022 Announces Multiplayer Sequel

A multiplayer sequel for Placid Plastic Duck Simulator was recently announced by Turbolento Games. The new title is coming under the name Slowly Sliding Ducks with online PvP and hats with the release date yet to be announced.

The game’s sequel, Slowly Sliding Ducks, takes the chill vibes of its predecessor and flings them into online multiplayer chaos. Now, 8 to 16 players can face off in PvP soccer matches and duck battles featuring hazards like bombs and ice slides.

This time the ducks aren’t just floating but fighting, sliding, and showing off with hats as Slowly Sliding Ducks features unlockable cosmetics like duck accessories and duck hats. 

While Turbolento Games stated that “All cosmetics can be unlocked through gameplay. No item is exclusively obtainable through monetary purchase.”

It is worth noting that the Placid Plastic Duck Simulator was one of the most beloved games on Steam in 2022. As of the time of writing, the game was published on Jul 6, 2022 featured an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam with a 15,014 review count.

Placid Plastic Duck Simulator includes 47 ducks to collect in the original base game, 27 ducks in Ducks Please DLC, 27 ducks in Duck Addiction expansion, 26 ducks in So Many Ducks DLC, on top of that there are 11 special ducks, and 13 event ducks, meaning the total current number of duck to collect is 151.
