Arcade-style side-scrolling beat ’em up video game with a pixelated art style, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, is slated for release on Dec. 1, 2025.

The announcement was made via a Release Date Trailer posted on the official YouTube channel of the game’s publisher, Dotemu.

The game will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Developed by Tribute Games upcoming title features both single-player and multiplayer modes, allowing players to team up with three other players in cooperative gameplay.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion offers a roster of 15 characters, including Captain America (Steve Rogers), Spider-Man (Peter Parker), Wolverine (Logan), Storm (Ororo Munroe), She-Hulk (Jennifer Walters), Rocket Raccoon, Venom (Eddie Brock), Nova (Richard Rider), Phyla-Vell, Black Panther (Shuri), Cosmic Ghost Rider, Beta Ray Bill, Silver Surfer (Norrin Radd), Iron Man (Tony Stark), and Phoenix (Jean Grey).

Each hero has their distinct movement and combat abilities, though each has a primary, hero-specific attack, a regular melee attack, a defend mechanic (either a block or a dodge), and a screen-clearing special move that consumes “focus”, gained through landing hits on enemies.
