Unlike other EA titles, Battlefield 6’s 10-hour free trial is not available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play. The game’s predecessor, Battlefield 2042, previously held a free 10-hour trial for Game Pass and EA Play members, creating speculation that Battlefield 6 might hold a free 10-hour trial as well.
Battlefield 6 launched on Oct. 10, greeted with over 700,000 concurrent players on Steam. According to industry analysts, the title has sold over 1.8 million copies on Steam, generating more than $100 million in revenue. Due to popular demand, the open queue to enter Battlefield 6 surpassed over 500,000 users.
Battlefield 6 is currently the #1 top seller on Steam; during its testing period, the game achieved 865,233 concurrent players on the platform. It is worth noting that the testing period was free, while Battlefield 6 currently costs $69.99 for the base edition.
As for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, the subscription service received a 50% price hike. Some users within select regions are exempt from the price increase, but only on the condition that they do not cancel their ongoing subscription.
