A free 30-minute-long demo of Little Nightmares III became available on Sept. 16, 2025, across all platforms on which the game is about to be released.
Developed by Supermassive Games and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, the game is slated for release on Oct. 10, 2025, for Playstation 5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
The upcoming puzzle-platform horror adventure follows the story of two new characters, Alone and Low, in their attempt to escape the desolate and nightmarish realm called The Nowhere.
Unlike the first two titles of the series, the third part will offer players the ability to play solo alongside an AI companion or in a pair with another player in online co-op mode.
As of April 2023, the Little Nightmares franchise, which includes the original 2017’s Little Nightmares, 2021’s Little Nightmares II, and 2019’s mobile title Very Little Nightmares, has sold over 12 million units worldwide across its three main titles.
