Little Nightmares III Sets Release Date

The release date for Little Nightmares III, Oct. 10, 2025, was announced by the game’s publisher, Bandai Namco Entertainment, during an online showcase event on June 24, 2025.
The upcoming puzzle-platform horror adventure developed by Supermassive Games is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
The game follows the story of two new characters, Alone and Low, in their attempt to escape the desolate and nightmarish realm called The Nowhere. Unlike the first two titles of the series, the third part will offer players the ability to play solo alongside an AI companion or in a pair with another player in online co-op mode.
The first title of the series, 2017’s Little Nightmares, won the “Indie Award” at Gamescom in 2016, while 2021’s Little Nightmares II received nominations for “Outstanding Character Design” and “Outstanding Game, Puzzle” at the 2022 NAVGTR Awards.
As of the time of writing, the first part of the series has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with 48,588 reviews, while its sequel has the same rating with 36,470 reviews.
The franchise has a prequel story told in the mobile game Very Little Nightmares, which was released on iOS by Alike Studio and Bandai Namco.
As of April 2023, the Little Nightmares franchise has sold over 12 million units worldwide across its three main titles.
