Almost an hour of Star Wars Outlaws footage has been uploaded on YouTube by a user named Mataleao, showing it running in both handheld and docked modes on the Nintendo Switch 2.
While several outlets have claimed that the game runs poorly on the device due to an “unstable, uncapped framerate,” the videos showed that the game has been operating in a good enough condition to be playable.
However, Star Wars Outlaws shouldn’t be in the hands of the public until Sept. 4, 2025. The uploader said that they got the copy from a retailer because it was simply “out on the store shelves and available.”
They also pointed out that there is a little bit of discrepancy between the case of the game and the label on the cartridge, as the game’s case said it is the Gold Edition of Star Wars Outlaws, but the cartridge did not have it.
Star Wars Outlaws is an action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The game was initially released in 2024 for the PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X|S.
