InZoi will receive its first official DLC, Island Getaway, on Aug. 20, 2025, according to the official announcement posted on the game’s Steam page.
Published by Krafton and developed by its in-house studio, InZoi launched on March 28, 2025, in Early Access for Windows PC via Steam and reached 1 million sales one week after release, becoming the company’s fastest-selling game. Notably, soon after launch, the game saw a dramatic drop in active players.
The upcoming expansion will add a tropical island called Cahaya to the game, featuring such activities as gardening and fishing, along with a local market.
The DLC is coming for free to all players who own the game, accompanied by a special influencer challenge and a limited-time summer event offering in-game item rewards and more.
InZoI is a life simulation game that features a community simulation experience where characters, known as Zois, live their lives in accordance with the user’s vision. Zois can perform different actions and build relationships based on their personalities, life experiences and other parameters set by the player.
As of the time of writing, the South Korean competitor to The Sims has a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam with 20,882 reviews, and an all-time peak of 87,377 concurrent players, according to SteamDB.
