Krafton Reports Record Quarter Driven by PUBG and InZoi

Krafton has released a new financial report, revealing that the first three months of 2025 were the company’s best in its history in terms of revenue. The report states that, driven by the expansion of the PUBG IP, the strong debut of InZoi, and the global growth of BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India), quarter-over-quarter sales have increased by 41.6%, while operating profits have surged by 112.2%.
The South Korean video game publisher and holding company saw a January-March revenue of approximately $609 million, representing a 31.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The company’s operating profit rose by 47.3% to roughly $319 million, while net profits grew to approximately $259 million.
Smartphones remained the main platform for Krafton as mobile games generated about $371 million for the company over three months, showing a 32.3% year-over-year growth.
Krafton’s PC games generated approximately $225 million in revenue, up 32.8% from the first quarter of 2024, and revenue from console games rose by 14.2% to roughly $9.2 million.
It is worth noting that in addition to its most successful title, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Krafton is currently developing three new projects in the same franchise: the top-down tactical shooter PUBG: Blindspot, the extraction shooter Project Black Budget and the console-focused battle royale Project Valor.
