Krafton Announces Record Revenue of $1.1 Billion for First Half of 2025

Krafton announced that its revenue for the first half of 2025 hit 1.53 trillion won, which is equivalent to around $1.1 billion. This figure represents an 11.9% increase compared to the first half of 2024. The main revenue driver was the success of both PUBG: Battlegrounds and inZOI, the latter of which became Krafton’s fastest-selling game with 1 million sales within its first week.
The company’s operating profits went up 9.5%, increasing to $509 million, with net profit falling by 44.5%, dropping to $277 million. The company’s mobile games contributed to 62.5% of its revenue, with PC games bringing another 35.35%. Console games account for only 2.15%.
Krafton plans on working on new franchises, with its studios currently developing 13 new titles, according to app2top, which sources Krafton directly.
As of writing, Krafton is developing three new projects within the same franchise as its most popular title: PUBG: Battlegrounds. The following three are in the works: PUBG: Blindspot, Project Black Budget, and Project Valor. Project Valor is marketed to be battle royale focusing on consoles, while PUBG: Blindspot is a top-down tactical shooter. Project Black Budget is reportedly going to be an extraction shooter.
