Fantasy Life i Celebrates 1.2M Copies Sold, Gives Away Free Items

Level5 announced that Fantasy Life i has reached 1.2 million copies sold. A month ago, the game celebrated its 1-million-copy milestone by essentially doing the same thing: giving away in-game items.
This time, the developers are sending out the following items:
- Legendary Don Horn x3
- Legendary Don Meat x3
- Legendary Shiny Diamond x3
- Legendary Divine Log x3
- Legendary Rocket Fish x3
- Legendary King Spud x3
In addition, the developers also shared information about the upcoming photo mode, which is going to be implemented in the game. According to them, the patch containing the new feature will be available later this month. The game’s photo mode will feature pose settings, options to show or hide Buddies and an adjustable camera.
The developers will also hold a photo contest to commemorate the addition of the feature. More information regarding the event is expected to be available in the future.
Regarding future updates, the developers have mentioned that as part of the Update the World! DLC, they will be adding a new roguelike open-world mode to the game. However, they did not mention anything regarding the mechanics of the game mode.
Fantasy Life i is a life simulation game initially released on May 21, 2025, for the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A Switch 2 version followed on June 5, 2025, the console’s launch date.
