Rise of the Tomb Raider and Little Nightmares II Join Xbox Game Pass

Little Nightmares II and Rise of the Tomb Raider became available for members of Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard subscription plans on Cloud, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Series X|S on July 1, 2025.
The second installment of a puzzle-platform horror adventure in the Little Nightmares series, developed by Tarsier Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, was published on February 11, 2021.
The story of the game follows Mono, who must work together with Six, the protagonist from Little Nightmares, to survive the horrors of the Pale City and discover its dark secrets. Little Nightmares II is similar to its predecessor, where the player explores a 3D world, encountering puzzles that must be solved to proceed further, but contrary to the first game, the protagonist is not completely helpless, as Mono has the ability to grab items and swing them to break objects or fight back against smaller foes.
Little Nightmares II won nominations for “Outstanding Character Design” and “Outstanding Game, Puzzle” at the 2022 NAVGTR Awards.
Little Nightmares III for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S has recently received a release date – October 10, 2025. The Little Nightmares franchise surpassed 20 million units sold globally by June 2025.
The eleventh main entry in the Tomb Raider series, Rise of the Tomb Raider, developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Microsoft Studios and Square Enix, was released on November 10, 2015. This action-adventure title follows the story of Lara Croft as she ventures into Siberia in search of the legendary city of Kitezh, while battling the paramilitary organization Trinity, which intends to uncover the city’s promise of immortality.
The game won nine different awards across various industry award events in 2016. Rise of the Tomb Raider had sold over one million units by the end of 2015 and surpassed 11.8 million units sold globally by November 2021.
