The library in the Xbox PC app brings together user’s games from Xbox, Game Pass, Battle.net, and other major PC storefronts as was officially announced on June 23, 2025.
This aggregated gaming library allows users to launch all installed games from leading PC storefronts on both Windows 11 PCs and handheld devices
According to the announcement, the feature will become available on holiday 2025 on the ROG Xbox Ally, ROG Xbox Ally X, and Windows 11 PCs.
With this new feature deployed, installed titles from a supported PC storefront will instantly show up in the “My library” section of the Xbox PC app and in the “Most recent” list on the sidebar.
If a user already has games installed from supported PC stores, they will appear in both the My Library and Most Recent sections. To hide these titles, the user needs to click on their profile picture, go to Settings, then Library & Extensions. From there, players can view the available storefronts and choose “Hide” for each game that needs to be removed from view.
Notably, Microsoft Xbox doesn’t call leading PC storefronts by name, it seems that Steam is one of them as Valve’s platform holds over 75% of the market share in the US, has 132 million monthly active users and sees 69 million daily active users.
The news comes two weeks after Xbox announced the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X for holiday 2025.
