Lies of P Devs Received Switch 2s and Two Week Vacation to Celebrate 3 Million Copies Sold

Neowiz gave every member of Round8 studio a Nintendo Switch 2 as an award for Lies of P’s 3 million copies sold milestone. The milestone was shared by Neowiz on June 20. Round8 workers all received an additional two-week vacation, alongside a 10 million won bonus, which equates to roughly $7,200.
The game sold 1 million copies in the first month of release and saw widespread critical acclaim. Lies of P was released back in September 2023 for the PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the PlayStation 4 and 5. The title is not available on the Switch 2, meaning the developers cannot play their work of art on their newly acquired Nintendo consoles.
Lies of P. continues to see live-service updates many months after its initial release. Its latest patch 1.9.0.0 update allows gamers to access the Overture DLC in chapter 5 instead of chapter 10 during the second playthrough. In addition, the difficulty for repeated playthroughs was fixed, with reduced monster difficulty in repeat playthroughs. The overture DLC serves as a prequel to the mainline story.
