Neowiz and Round8 Studio have surprise-released Lies of P: Overture, the first expansion for their soulslike action RPG, during the Summer Game Fest 2025 showcase. The DLC is now available for $29.99 on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
Serving as a prequel to the base game, Overture transports players to a wintery setting, with new environments, monsters, bosses, and expanded lore. The expansion also introduces the “Battle Memories” mode, allowing players to replay boss fights, and includes a new boss rush feature.
A free update accompanies the DLC, adding multiple difficulty options to make the game more accessible to a broader audience.
Lies of P, a Soulslike action RPG inspired by the tale of Pinocchio, debuted in September 2023. Developed by Neowiz and Round8 Studio, the game received critical acclaim for its atmospheric world and challenging combat. Within its first month, it sold over 1 million copies, and with the inclusion of GamePass subscribers had surpassed 7 million players globally.
