Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has crossed the 1-million mark in sales worldwide, less than a month after its release. Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino posted on X to thank all the fans who purchased copies and added that a small patch note regarding future features will be added to the game.
The developers are currently doing a giveaway of 10 game codes and 10 original canvas prints on X as part of the 1-million mark celebration. They also published a post similar to Hino’s, thanking the fans for playing the game.
The game was recently updated to version 1.3.1, which introduced several quality-of-life changes and some mechanics that players have been requesting since launch. One of them is the ability to see farther into the environment.
Additionally, the developers have also made it easier for players to do their farming chores quickly by allowing them to target all the tiles with the Sow Seed and Water Plants action. Players will also automatically sheath their weapons when dashing during harvesting. These updates are only available for the PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 4 and 5. Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions will follow at a later date.
Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time was released on May 21, 2025. A Nintendo Switch 2 version followed on June 5, 2025, the console’s launch date. At launch, the game had trouble with Xbox servers, with the developers saying the problem came from Xbox’s side.
