Diablo Immortal will receive its twelfth major update, Prince of Freedom, on June 19, 2025, as officially announced by Blizzard.
Notably, the main quest of the upcoming update will be available only to those who have already reached Paragon level 60 or above and completed the Writhing Wilds quest.
Prince of Freedom will also introduce a Party Duels PvP feature, allowing groups of players to initiate duels with other teams of up to four players. The feature will be available via a Challenge button that appears after tapping on other players. Duel winners will be awarded commemorative badges.
The update also brings three new Bloomhollow Helliquary bosses: Thorncrown, Crooked Bough, and Abysslurker. Defeating the Bloomhollow bosses will unlock Inferno Difficulties VII, VIII, and IX.
With the launch of Prince of Freedom, Diablo Immortal will also receive five Ancient Legendary Helmets, each containing four Affixes and an equal number of Attributes. This gear can be crafted at the Blacksmith in Inferno Difficulty VII and higher or found as a drop from Helliquary, Helliquary Gauntlet, Vanguard, Terror Rifts, Oblivion Pillars, and Hellslayer Bounties activities.
On top of that, the Set Hunter dungeon event is slated for the window of June 19 to August 25, 2025, bringing higher drop chances.
Prince of Freedom will also bring three new gems: Five-Star Legendary Gem Blood Floe, Two-Star Legendary Gem Stubborn Oracle, and One-Star Legendary Gem Surging Sea.
With Blood Floecaracter’s critical hits will boost him into a Bloodrage, increasing both critial and basic hit damage stats. With active Bloodrage chracter’s critical hits wil also Rend Flesh, causing enemies to bleed for additional damage every second.

Stubborn Oracle will form a twenty-second-lasting Divine Aegis in front of the character if they are attacked, increasing Block Chance against enemies and reducing the duration of loss of control effects.

Surging Sea, in its turn, will increase the character’s skill damage, stacking up to 10 times, and reduce skill cooldown time.

During the period from June 19 to July 2, 2025, players who have already reached Level 30 or above will be able to claim two Blood Floe gems after linking their Diablo Immortal and Battle.net accounts.
Developed by Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase, Diablo Immortal surpassed $1 billion in revenue within its first eight weeks, according to the analytics firm Sensor Tower.
