- Atomic Heart 2 is a sequel to Atomic Heart, a single-player first-person shooter.
- The Cube is an MMO RPG shooter within the Atomic Heart universe.
- Both Atomic Heart 2 and The Cube will be PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Video game development studio Mundfish announced two titles during Summer Games Fest 2025: Atomic Heart 2 and The Cube. Atomic Heart 2 is a sequel to the 2023 first-person shooter, Atomic Heart. As for The Cube, the upcoming MMORPG also takes place within the same universe.
The two titles received trailer announcements, which showcased largely the cinematic universe and cut scenes rather than showing in-depth gameplay. This sentiment rings true for both trailers.
The Atomic Heart 2 release date has yet to be announced. The Steam page for the title is currently bare bones, with no System requirements listed for Atomic Heart 2.
Since The Cube is an MMO, it supports multiplayer features; whether or not cross-platform play will be supported is not yet known. No release date or planned release year has been announced, according to the game’s Steam posting.
Atomic Heart released across various platforms in 2023; the game received critical acclaim for its artistic style and unique history setting. The title offers action combat alongside puzzles and exploration.
