Nintendo Switch Online Adds Four GameBoy Classic Titles to Subscription

Nintendo Switch Online added four GameBoy Classic titles to their catalog: Survival Kids, Gladius the Interstellar Assault, Kirby’s Star Stacker, and The Sword of Hope. Users who have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription can access the following titles: the base Nintendo Switch subscription costs $19.99 for 12 months, or $3.99 per month. The online subscription also comes with NES and Super NES titles. 

Kirby’s Star Stacker is a falling block puzzle game, where the goal is to earn as many stars as possible by matching pairs of blocks.  Survival Kids is a survival game that was published by Konami in 1999; it is not to be mistaken with the Switch 2 game, which is also named Survival Kids. The two are distinct entities unrelated to one another. As for The Sword of Hope, the RPG game released in 1989 in Japan and 1991 internationally. Gladius the Interstellar Assault is a retro horizontal scrolling shooter from 1991. 

Purchasing the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, which costs $49.99, grants access to all the prior perks alongside N64, GBA, Sega Genesis, and GameCube games. The expansion subscription also provides subscribers with DLC for select titles, including Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
