Zenless Zone Zero to Receive Version 2.0 and Launch on Xbox

HoYoverse will release Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0 on the same day the game launches on Xbox, June 6, 2025, a year after its initial simultaneous launch on PlayStation 5, PC, and smartphones, both iOS and Android.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0 will bring three new characters: Grandmaster Yixuan, an S-rank agent who is able to ignore enemies’ defense and deal huge damage, which can also scale with her attack power and max HP; S-rank Agent Ju Fufu, a Yunkui Summit disciple who deals Physical and Fire damage and boosts her squad’s critical damage with her Tiger’s Roar buff; and the A-rank Physical Defense Agent Pan Yinhu, who brings some serious attitude to your team. On top of that, Version 2.0 will also bring a new rabbit-like robotic assistant: S-rank Bangboo Belion.

Notably, S-rank Agents Astra Yao and Caesar are getting reruns as part of Zenless Zone Zero’s Version 2.0 banners.

Also, on the occasion of the update marking the game’s first anniversary, players will be able to choose one S-rank Agent and one S-rank W-Engine from the Stable Channel for free.

Version 2.0 will also bring a new area to explore, the Waifei Peninsula, a remote district of New Eridu that will introduce new exploration gameplay mechanics.

The game will also get new combat mechanic Miasma & Corruption, new daily gameplay called Suibian Temple Management, new outfit system

The update will also introduce multiole quality-of-life improvements like a new 3D map for navigation, new beacons that allow players to revive characters and restore HP, and other tweaks.

Due to the launch on Microsoft’s consoles, Xbox players can claim the exclusive in-game title The Xenless for free after the official release. Besides that, Game Pass Ultimate members can get 80 Polychrome, 2 Ether Batteries, 10 Senior Investigator Logs, 15 W-Engine Energy Modules, and 75,000 Denny for logging in after each major version update.
