On May 19, 2025, Gamers Nexus published a video called “NVIDIA’s Dirty Manipulation of Reviews,” where the host, Steve Burke, claimed that Nvidia tried to manipulate reviews for its graphics cards. According to Burke, Nvidia requested Gamers Nexus to change its editorial direction if it wants to continue working with the company.

“For the last 6 months, Nvidia has been pressuring us under threat of access to include MFG or Multiframe Generation 4x on charts alongside devices that don’t even support it,” Burke said in the video. He added that doing so would be an unfair misrepresentation.

Gamers Nexus has produced over an hour of content regarding multiframe generation and DLSS, but according to Gamers Nexus, it’s still not enough for Nvidia. He said that it might be because the videos weren’t “purely positive.”

Burke cautioned his fans that Nvidia might also be doing this to other reviewers and that they should be aware that this is happening. He also said that he talked to “a ton of media you all likely know from around the world” and confirmed that there is pressure “of covering certain things in a certain way in reviews.”

Burke thinks that the directive came from top management, as he figured out it’s not some “rogue American PR thing.” It was also happening globally. Burke tried to email the head of GeForce marketing, Matt Wuebbling, who referred him to one of his marketing staff.

Nvidia recently released its newest GPU, the RTX 5060. The card focuses on high-efficiency 1080p and entry-level 1440p gaming. It was released on May 19, 2025, and is available worldwide.
