Tundra Esports outplayed Team Falcons at the Grand Finals of Blast Slam III on May 11, 2025, and secured a victory with a 3:1 score, becoming Dota 2 tournament’s back-to-back champions.
In Game One, Falcons came in with an idea to pick Dark Seer to disrupt Razor and Medusa, using Surge ability to give Falcons the speed to reset fights and avoid Razor’s damage steal. All they needed was for Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf to play it slow, soak some EXP, and join the team later. But he didn’t manage to wait, which led to a pair of early deaths before hitting level two, which threw the plan off entirely, and then Tundra kept him down and out of every team fight and won the game.
Blast Slam III’s Game Two turned into Martin “Saksa” Sazdov’s show. Tundra’s support player dominated the laning phase and orchestrated kills across the map with surgical precision on Tusk. Falcons held on longer this time and even managed to swing a few fights their way, but Saksa’s constant presence gave Tundra the edge, and his performance made him match’s MVP.
The proper response from the Falcons finally came in Game Three. The Saudi esports team flipped the script with a draft built to disrupt Saksa, and it worked flawlessly. They didn’t leave Tundra a chance with the coordinated work of Ursa and Crystal Maiden’s shocking impact. Still, this game’s most memorable moment wasn’t the Falcons’ win as Atf uncovered yet another map bug, this time one that stopped Pangolier from bouncing properly.
The last encounter, Game Four, was closed out by Tundra’s Phantom Assassin, using Fan of Knives to slice through Falcons’ tanky cores, bringing the UK team their second Blast Slam win in a row.
