Bandai Namco revealed an Elden Ring Nightreign overview trailer – a ten minute video discussing the story overview alongside core gameplay elements. The expansion takes place on Limnveld, a land approaching its doom as nightfall approaches. Players are sent to hunt the ultimate threat in the game: Nightlords.
The game forces confrontations with the Nightlords with its Nightfall mechanic – when the night encroaches, areas of the map become limited thereby forcing confrontations with bosses.
As for the gameplay, the co-op survival action game allows players to revive one another, a mechanic that will facilitate cooperative mechanics. There are eight Nightfarers to choose from, each with unique passive abilities, skills, and ultimate arts. The trailer showcases each Nightfarers combat animations.

Elden Ring Nightreign is scheduled for release on May 30 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. FromSoftware announced Elden Ring has shipped over 30 million copies globally.
