Fortnite x Star Wars Premieres Tales of the Underworld Three Days Before Official Release

Fortnite begins their Star Wars collaboration celebrations with a premiere of Tales of the Underworld – a highly anticipated Star Wars animation. The first two episodes are being shown in-game on May 2 at 10 am ET, with an exclusive reward for those who watch both episodes. Players can watch on the standalone Star Wars Watch Party Island.
“For the first time, Disney+ is premiering a show inside a game, launching alongside our largest Star Wars collaboration with Fortnite to date,” said Sean Shoptaw, Executive Vice President, Disney Games & Digital Entertainment.
“Disney and Epic are pioneering the future of social entertainment together, and this expansive Star Wars collaboration offers a glimpse into the type of interactive experiences we envision,” Adam Sussman, President, Epic Games said in the official blog post.
By watching both episodes, viewers are granted the exclusive Assaj Ventress loading screen. In addition, players with can now connect their Disney+ account to their Epic account; doing so rewards players with First Order Stormtrooper Outfit.
Tales of the Underworld is a Star Wars animated series; the premiere on Fortnite is an exclusive first look at the series. The series releases on May 4, 2025 – three days after its initial premiere on Fortnite. As for the continuity of Tales of the Underworld, it is a sequel to Tales of the Jedi (2022) and Tales of the Empire (2024); the Star Wars animated series will be streaming exclusively on Disney+.
