Key points

  1. Remedy Entertainment unveils the release date of FBC: Firebreak to be on June 17.
  2. The game will also receive post-launch content like free Jobs and Requisitions.
  3. FBC: Firebreak will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

On April 24, Remedy Entertainment revealed that FBC: Firebreak is coming out on June 17. Post-launch support is also abundant, as the developers plan on including battle passes and new free Jobs that players can undertake.

The battle pass in the game is going to be called Requisition, and there are going to be two of them: a free and a premium one. The free one, Operational Requisition, contains weapons, armors, and equipment. Players can unlock these using in-game currencies. The premium battle pass is called the Classified Requisition and only contains cosmetics.

Players don’t need to rush to unlock the items in the Requisitions, as the developers mentioned that these will not expire. Players can simply buy one and not worry about it going away, which is different from the battle passes of live-service games such as Apex Legends and Valorant.

FBC: Firebreak is priced at $39.99 for the Standard Edition, and those who want the Deluxe Edition will have to spend $59.99 for it. The latter includes the Firestarter Armor Set, the Firestarter Voice Pack, the Pencil Pusher Voice Pack, the Scorched Remnant Double-Barrel Shotgun Skin, and the Golden Firebreak Spray. It also includes the first Classified Requisition, called Firestarter.

The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It’s also going to be in the PS Plus Games Catalog and Game Pass.
