Kim Hyung-tae, the CEO of Shift Up and Game Director of Stellar Blade, has joined the ranks of the top 50 wealthiest people in Korea. This information came from a Forbes article published on April 14.

According to the article, Kim Hyung-tae’s net worth is at $725 million. Despite shares of his company declining, his current net worth is still enough for him to be inducted into one of Korea’s richest people. His debut puts him in 46th place.

Kim Hyung-tae worked as an art director of NCSoft’s Blade & Soul development team. In 2013, after leaving NCSoft, he founded Shift Up and made Goddess of Victory: Nikke and Stellar Blade. Nikke earned more than $400 million in revenue in less than a year. Stellar Blade, on the other hand, was received favorably by critics and earned a score of 81 on Metacritic.
