The new update 7.0 for Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 added a new PvE mission: Exfiltration. This mission takes place on Avarax, at the outskirts of an Imperial Hive City. Players must extract a rogue Tech-Priest and fight Trygon — a giant Tyranid that burrows underground, creating passageways for other Tyranid Organisms.
In addition to the new PvE mission, Warhammer 40k: Space Marines 2 Patch 4.0 implemented a new private PvP feature. Within private PvP lobbies, players can invite fellow Space Marines and set their own rulings.
