April 25, 2025, is set as a release date for an upcoming story-driven first-person shooter, La Quimera, from Reburn, the studio created by former Metro 2033 developers from 4A Games Ukraine. The game is coming to Windows PC via Steam with closed beta starting on April 12, 2025.
The upcoming title is set in Latin America in 2064 when the majority of nation-states have become extinct due to a series of natural and human-caused catastrophes.
The game will offer players to assume the role of PMC operative to participate in a high-risk campaign across a dystopian megalopolis and wild jungles. La Quimera will feature a single mode and online coop for at least two users.
The game’s world and story are crafted by Nicolas Winding Refn, a Danish film director, screenwriter, and producer best known for directing Drive and The Neon Demon and his acting role of Heartman in Death Stranding series.
