Independent games studio 4A Games Ukraine rebranded to ‘Reburn’ and announced their upcoming game: La Quimera. La Quimera will be a story driven first person shooter “set in dystopian future Latin America.” As of February 27, only a single announcement trailer was revealed – no release date was included.

Players control an operative caught in a web of lies and deception. According to the trailer, the game can be played alone or up to two friends – indicating online multiplayer functionality. The game is assumed to support story progression during multiplayer. La Quimera is now available to wish list on steam.

Initial reports alongside the leaked trailer surfaced on various websites on February 26. But the links were promptly purged. The only remaining mentions appeared on Eastern European websites, with a copy of the leaked trailer uploaded to the Russian social network VK.

4A Games Ukraine was founded in 2005, and was best known for the Metro series. The latest entry to the series, Metro Exodus, sold ten million copies and earned widespread critical acclaim.
