- Bandai Namco released player statistics for play tests of Elden Ring: Nightreign.
- The stats show that the game absolutely kicked players’ butts.
- Elden Ring: Nightreign releases May 30.
Elden Ring Publisher Bandai Namco revealed the player statistics for their playtest of Elden ring: Nightreign, an expansion that releases on May 30. A total of 23,627,489 attacks were used to save down Nightfallers – indicating the game kicked players’ butts. The number of total downs was not shared.
Nightlord Gladius, Beast of Night, was the main boss of the playtest. Players only managed to defeat the boss 58,615 times. Considering this is a tiny fraction when compared to the number of attacks used to save downed Nightfallers, Nightlord Gladius undoubtedly kicked butt and took names.
To add on, a total of 37,957,453,867 runes were lost – once again indicating a lot of play testing deaths. For context, runes are dropped upon death. Players can pick them back up, but failing to do so results in them being lost.
Here are the remainder of the stats presented by Bandai Namco:
Smaller Enemy defeat count:
- Golden Hippopotamus: 194,996
- Flame Chariots: 164,974
- Fire Monk: 150,128
- Flying Dragon of the Hills: 147,202
- Royal Army Knights: 98,738
Spectral Hawks were summoned 427,533 times.
Elden Ring: Nightreign is the highly anticipated expansion for the souls-like game, Elden Ring. With any souls-like, difficulty is expected and celebrated. The stats presented by Bandai Namco indicate a rather punishing online co-op experience for Elden Ring: Nightreign, which is available for pre-purchase for $39.99.
