Multiple games upcoming for Nintendo Switch in 2025 got release dates within a 30-minute long live-streamed Nintendo Direct on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

On top of that, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, King of Meat, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Witchbrook, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots and Dragon Quest I & II HD Remakes were officially teased for release in 2025. Rhythm Heaven Groove and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, in their turn, were announced for 2026. In addition to that, The Eternal Life of Goldman has revealed extended gameplay trailers without any release details.

Square Enix’s Dragon Quest I & II HD Remakes of the original 1986 and 1987 games are officially about to be released for Nintendo Switch in 2025.

Spike Chunsoft’s new entry in AI: The Somnioum Files called No Sleep for Kaname Date with leading character on a mission to save Iris will become available on July 25, 2025.

Sega’s Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is coming to Switch on June 19, 2025. Originally launched as Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army, this detective-noir title introduces to players Raidou Kuzunoha, a young devil summoner tasked with defending early 20th-century Japan from otherworldly threats. Blending action-based combat with classic RPG mechanics, the game allows players to summon and command demons in real-time battles. The remastered edition promises enhanced visuals, refined gameplay, and various quality-of-life upgrades.

Shadow Labyrinth, which is about to serve as a reimagining of the Pac-Man franchise, is coming on July 18, 2025. The game features a playable character known as The Swordsman, guided by a yellow orb called Puck. On top of that, Shadow Labyrinth already has a prequel story, which was told in the Secret Level series in the episode titled Circle.

On July 11, 2025, Bandai Namco Entertainment America will bring to Nintendo Switch as one bundle remasters of Patapon I and Patapon II rhythm games developed by Pyramid and Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2007 and 2008, respectively.

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is set for release on Nintendo on Aug. 27, 2025. A 3D remake of Harvest Moon DS: Grand Bazaar will head to Zephyr Town, where players will be tasked with not only farm duties and animal care but also with running a booth at the weekly bazaar. There will also be an opportunity to build relationships with other villagers.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is officially coming in 2025. The game was first announced at E3 2017, originally in development under Bandai Namco. However, in January 2019, the project was restarted with Retro Studios—developers of the previous Metroid Prime titles—taking over. Kensuke Tanabe, who produced all prior Prime games, also returned to lead the project as producer.

Disney Villains Cursed Café is available starting March 27, 2025. As the newest potionista of the magic establishment, players will mix and serve a variety of magical elixirs that have the power to change the outcome of each villain’s story.

Witchbrook by Chucklefish, where players can forge a new identity as a witch-in-training and explore a spellbinding pixel art world, was officially teased for release for Nintendo Switch in Winter 2025.

The Eternal Life of Goldman from THQ Nordic, a platformer adventure where players can explore a mythical, hand-drawn world showed an extended gameplay trailer without any release details.

Gradius Origins collection was revealed for Nintendo Switch with a release date of Aug. 7, 2025. This bundle of classic shoot’em up video games, developed and published by Konami, celebrates the 40th anniversary of the series and includes Gradius, Salamander, Life Force, Gradius II, Gradius III, and Salamander II, with a brand new entry, Salamander III on top.

Rift of the NecroDancer, a 2025 rhythm game developed by Brace Yourself Games and Tic Toc Games and published by Klei Entertainment, launches on Nintendo Switch on March 27, 2025.

Tamagotchi Plaza, a new entry in the Tamagotchi franchise, is set for launch on June 27, 2025.

Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for the Nintendo Switch, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, a new title in the Pokémon franchise, was officially announced for launch later in 2025.

More than 10 years after the release of the first title in the Rhythm Heaven series, Nintendo officially announced a new entry in the franchise called Rhythm Heaven Groove coming in 2026.

High On Life, a comedic first-person shooter game with action-adventure and Metroidvania elements that takes place in a science fiction world that features talking guns is set for release on Nintendo Switch on May 6, 2025.

Star Overdrive, a game where players can explore a distant planet on a Hoverboard, using Keytar and different powers to overcome dangerous challenges and solve various puzzles, is set for release on Nintendo Switch on April 10,2025.

The Wandering Village, a game that allows gamers to build a settlement on the back of a giant creature to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, is set for release on Nintendo on July 17, 2025.

King of Meat, a co-op humorous combat game where players battle through creative dungeons in a survival gameshow setting was announced for 2025.

Lou’s Lagoon is a simulation game where players can fly a seaplane and deliver goods to the islands of the Limbo Archipelago in order to uncover the mystery of their uncle’s disappearance while customizing the plane, the playable character and its home. The title is set for release on Nintendo Switch in Summer 2025.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is set for release on May 21, 2025, featuring a world where players can switch between 14 different jobs and explore a deserted island while restoring it and uncovering its mysteries.

SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered is available on Nintendo Switch starting March 27, 2025, bringing a renewed version of the eighth original game in the SaGa series.

A puzzle indie game by Ustwo Games where the player leads the princess Ida through mazes of optical illusions, Monument Valley I & II, are coming to Nintendo Switch on April 15, 2025, with the third part of the series set for release in Summer 2025.

Everybody’s Golf series of sports video games, with the first title launched in 1997, brings its new installment, Hot Shots, to Nintendo Switch in 2025.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion, a retro brawler from Tribute Games, developer of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, is set for release on Nintendo Switch in Winter 2025.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, a social simulation game, is scheduled to be published for the Nintendo Switch in 2026. The game marks the third entry in the Tomodachi video game series, with the previous entry, Tomodachi Life, being released for the Nintendo 3DS over a decade prior.

It is worth noting that Information about Nintendo Switch 2 will be shared on April 2nd at 6 a.m. PT during the Nintendo Direct presentation dedicated to the reveal of the new console.
