Samsung and Moonton are partnering up to hold Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Campus Series Tournament. The tournament is open for students over the age of 18. Beginning in April 25 and concluding on May 18, the MLBB Campus Series Tournament will feature competitions across Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

The Regional Finals will take place in Indonesia from June 20 to 22 – where teams will compete for a share of the $40,000 prize pool.

Thanks to the partnership with Samsung, esport participants will be playing on Samsung S25 Ultras – the latest flagship phone from Samsung. The smartphone features Advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is currently one of the strongest mobile processors in the market.

“Through Samsung’s Galaxy Gaming Academy Campus Series, we are not only equipping students with mobile devices that bring a game-changing experience, we are also creating a forum for them to develop their skills, gain experience, and expand their community,” Samsung representative, Carl Nordenberg VP of Regional Head of Mobile Experience, shared.

The goal of the partnership is to strengthen grassroots esports opportunities and create a sustainable pathway for young players to grow within the MLBB ecosystem.

Though this partnership has just begun, Moonton appears to have long term plans for MCS (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Campus Series) – indicated by the following statement:

“With MCS set to expand further in the coming years, students can look forward to more tournaments, activities, and experiences, allowing them to dive deeper into the dynamic world of esports. Stay tuned as MCS continues to redefine campus-level esports and inspire the next generation of MLBB champions.”

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is a 5v5 mobile MOBA with a robust player base. The game initially received criticism for mimicking League of Legends – resulting in various lawsuits and controversy. But since its conception in 2016, the mobile MOBA has evolved, gaining its own unique identity in the marketplace.
